February 2-6, 2009 Stonehenge Shopping Center between Rite Aid and Harris Teeter This may be your last chance to consign or buy your favorite high-end children's clothing! The show has been moved up a month due to the Consumer Products Safety Improvement Act. This act states that all children's items (including clothing) must be tested for lead by February 10, 2009. This is a retroactive law for both new and used items. Therefore, any sale of these items will be illegal. This law was put together quickly in the effort to protect children, but went a little overboard. We believe this will be amended soon, but we are not sure when. So we are going to have one last sale before the deadline! A great way for you to be active in all this is to email or call your local US Representative or Senator. Spring Schedule: Consignor Drop-off: Monday, February 2nd by appointment only Preview Show: Tuesday, February 3rd Divine Volunteers (2 or more shifts) 4:00 p.m- 9:00 p.m. Volunteers (1-shift) 4:30 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. Consignors 5:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. Grandparent Preview Show (anyone may shop as long as they bring a grandparent!): Tuesday, February 3rd 7:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. New Mom Preview Show(see below): Wednesday, February 4th 8:00 a.m.- 9:00 a.m. Public Show: Wednesday, February 4th 9:00 a.m.- 8:00 p.m. Public Show & 1/2 off day (consignor choice): Thursday, February 5th 9:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. Consignor Pick-up: Thursday, February 5th 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m.* Friday, February 6th 9:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m. * if you have someone other than you picking up your clothes, they MUST pick up on Saturday morning. Volunteer and be the first to shop at our Spring Show! For a 3 hour shift that you work during our show, you will earn a Preview Pass to our incredible Preview Show on Wednesday. Or work 2 or more shifts and become a "Divine Volunteer" and be one of the very first shoppers!
